“those that fail to plan, plan to fail”

There’s a saying that I’m sure you know – “those that fail to plan, plan to fail”.

This has never been truer than trying to create an online business.
A lack of fundamental business building knowledge is really the primary cause for so much time wasting.
So many people run around online from one “great” thing to the next without any real structure or thought to what they want to achieve or even how to achieve it
spending a few hours surfing through forums, and then a few more looking at images on a site, checking emails, glance through an eBook etc etc etc…
Now please don’t beat yourself up if this sounds like you, we’ve all been guilty of doing this when we started. And I include myself when I began!
But – if you are serious about making money online, you have to adopt a different attitude.
Let me share something with you — there is a PROCESS to making money online.

Just like in ANY business – on or off line – there is a PROCESS to success.
You just have to learn that PROCESS.

  1. Hi Colin, i hope that you’re well.

I totaly agree with you, every business should follow a plan and the internet is no exception. In fact it’s easier to get distracted on the net so the plan has to be well structured and STUCK TO.

Colin, i accidentally clicked your ‘About Me’ title, (not the link to your page, but the title) and it took me to D9 clients area. Thought i should point that out mate.

Have a good weekend and enjoy the Rugby.

    Speak soon, Regards, Barry

I am in John Thornhill’s Masterclass for this year and am enjoying it very much indeed. How did you find it last year?

If you need any help with Twitter just let me know as I am very active there and help a lot of people.

Hope to speak to you soon.

    All the best

  3. Hi Colin,

Great post. I totally agree with the philosophy and we have all learnt a lot about that during the Masterclass course, haven’t we!

    Enjoy the journey.

  4. Hi Colin,
Great post, and so true. It’s amazing how many of us don’t plan what we are going to do and basically leave things to chance, so could be better described as ‘planning to fail, by failing to plan’?
I have enjoyed reading your posts, great information shared.
    all the best
    Richard

  5. Hey Colin,

So true. Having a plan is seeing an end to the beginning is how I see it.

If you plan, you keep score and can see your accomplishments.

A plan keeps you on task and makes you accountable.

    What’s your process Colin?

    Best wishes,

    Alan
